 Goals:  

-         -  To brush up students’ knowledge  in the area of geography and history.

-        -  To practice listening and speaking skills about the great historical discoveries on the basic of a presentation and a video episode.

-         - To practice speaking in groups/pairs, to learn s-s the co-operative work.

- To learn s-s   make a conclusion and express their opinions.

Goals:

- Practice speaking in different ways using vocabulary which has been learnt so far;

- Learn more about the sights and places of interest in London;

- Discuss images

- Practise meeting people and asking for information

- Practise expressing opinions.

Урок на тему: "Across cultures. Scotland." (7 класс)

Я был в Шотландии далекой:
тысячелетие подряд
здесь сотни кланов гордых скоттов
на страже гор своих стоят.

Волынки жалостные звуки,
овец, коров несметна рать.
Узор на килтах носят Мак’и,
чтоб верность клану соблюдать.

Они веками гонят виски, 
а из овчины пледы шьют.
